In Lake Arrowhead, garden centers are busiest on spring weekends, when new stock arrives and popular plants sell out; weekday mornings are calmer and staff have more time to answer questions. Ask which plants are hardy for your USDA zone in California, whether trees and shrubs carry a replacement guarantee (one year is common), and whether the nursery delivers and plants large items. Fall is the best planting season for many trees and perennials, and end-of-season sales are common. Many nurseries close or shorten hours in winter, so check the listing for current hours and Google rating before you go.

John and his team were so incredibly sweet and they wished me happy birthday when I was there walking around with my husband ❤️ the prices were fair and the plants were in beautiful condition. We can't wait to come back

Not sure how this place has such high reviews as their prices are insane. Nice enough for a quick walk around but, u less you want very specific plants, you could purchase much more for much less from any number of nearby garden centers.

Cannot beat this place for atmosphere, the sheer beauty and variety of plants and the consistent helpfulness and genuine friendlyness of the staff (great place to learn too and so accessible to newby gardeners). We'll be coming here as long as we live here! It's magical. Much love and care goes into this special place. Picture of tiny free plant Brian gave us now blooming.

My wife and I love to stop by nurseries when we travel. This one was great and so much fun! Prices are great! Very large area and so many things to see. Staff is very friendly and take very good care of their plants. I overheard a lady telling her coworker that the plants were looking much happier after moving their location. To me that just says a lot about a nursery and how they care for their plants. Can’t wait till we come back up here. Such a wonderful little community.
